How do minimums and per-pound pricing work?
Poplin orders are priced using a combination of a per-pound rate and a minimum order amount. These amounts may vary by location, but customers always see the exact pricing before placing their order.
As a Laundry Pro, you earn 75% of the total order cost, including when a minimum applies.
Minimums
Every order has a minimum dollar amount, regardless of weight. This means:
If an order is small, the minimum ensures you still earn a solid baseline
If an order exceeds the minimum, pricing shifts to a per-pound calculation
Per-pound earnings
When an order is priced by weight, your earnings scale with the price per pound.
For example:
If the price is $1.40 per pound, you earn $1.05 per pound
If the price is $1.60 per pound, you earn $1.20 per pound
Higher-priced orders = higher earnings per pound.
What this means for you
Customers can send as much or as little laundry as they’d like, but:
You’re always protected by a minimum earning baseline
Larger orders give you the opportunity to earn more per pound
Pricing (and your earnings) are always clearly tied to the order details shown in the app
Over time, you’ll get a feel for how order size, pricing, and your workflow come together to maximize your earnings.
