Declining an Order and Including Your Next Availability
The new Decline Order feature lets you decline an order while keeping customers informed about your next available date. This helps maintain professional communication and gives customers a clear idea of when they can place their next order with you.
Note: This feature is only available for orders where the customer has specifically requested you as their Laundry Pro. If you are not specifically requested, there is no decline option.
How It Works
When declining a request, you can:
- Include a Decline Reason: Choose from preset reasons like “Not Available” or “On vacation.”
- Provide Your Next Availability: Select a specific date within the next 7 days when you’ll be available to take orders again.
How to Use the Decline Feature
1. Access the Decline Order Flow
- Go to the Available Orders tab in the app.
- Find the order you want to decline.
- Tap Decline.
2. Choose a Decline Reason
Select a reason for declining the order:
- Not available (default selection)
- Fully booked
- On vacation
- Too far
3. Turn On Include Next Availability
- In the Decline Order screen, toggle Include Next Availability to ON.
4. Select Your Next Available Date
A calendar will appear. Pick the date you’ll be available to take orders again within the next 7 days.
Your availability will be included in the message sent to the customer.
5. Send the Message
- Review the pre-written message with your selected availability and decline reason.
- Tap Send Message to notify the customer.
