Donation Drop-Off is an optional add-on customers can select when placing a laundry order. When an order includes it, you'll pick up a sealed donation box alongside the laundry and drop it off at any local donation center of your choosing. You'll earn additional money for this add-on, shown on the order contract before you accept.
At pickup
- Pick up the donation box alongside the laundry bags
- Keep it clearly separate from the laundry at all times
- Do not count the donation box in your laundry bag count
- Include the donation box in your pickup photo alongside the laundry
The most important thing: keep donations and laundry separate
Never donate anything that isn't in the sealed donation box. If you have any doubt at all about what's a donation and what's laundry, stop and contact the customer before proceeding.

How do I know if an order has a donation drop-off?
It will be visible on the order contract before you accept. You'll also receive an email when you accept an order with this add-on. During the order, it will appear under Additional Touches in the launder step.
What does the box look like?
Customers are instructed to use a standard moving box (max 18" x 18" x 24"), sealed and labeled "DONATIONS." If the box isn't labeled, keep it clearly separate from the laundry and contact the customer if you have any doubt about what's inside.
If the box isn't right
Box is too big (larger than 18" x 18" x 24"): You are not required to take it. Leave it behind, give the customer a heads up, and contact concierge so they can get the charge removed.
Multiple boxes: Take one. Let the customer know you weren't able to take the rest.
Not a standard box (bag, bin, etc.): You are not required to take it. If you choose to, that's fine — just keep it clearly separate from the laundry. If you leave it, please let the customer know.
Box isn't out at pickup: Message the customer. If you can't locate it, please notify concierge.
When do I need to drop it off?
Whenever is convenient for you — there's no deadline. Drop it at any local donation center you choose: Goodwill, Salvation Army, or anywhere similar. You don't need to notify the customer of the drop-off location.
What if something in the box makes me uncomfortable?
You're not responsible for what the customer packed. Handle it however works best for you — return it, dispose of it, or drop it at a different location. Feel free to contact concierge so they can follow up with the customer.
